The Home for the Elders and the Attanagalla Children’s Home was founded on 08th May 1961 in the town of Wathupitiwala in the
Gampaha District, which is about 45Km from Colombo. This is another social service provided by the philanthropic family of Mrs. J.P. Obeyesekere(I) to the people of the Siyane Korale.Future Projects
- Securing the boundary of the 8 acre coconut land
- Renovating and Repairing the roofs of the homes
- Renovating a building for counseling..
Donations
- Most of the meals (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner) are provided very kindly by the local community in the form of dane or alms. They share generously....
